Notre Dame Basilica, Old Montreal

Date:June 2007. Great FASD Horseback Ride Across Canada.

Built between 1824 and 1829, the imposing structure of the Notre-Dame Basilica reigns over the Old-Montréal. Its neo-gothic architecture and the wealth of its inside and outside decoration makes it a jewel among the modern buildings surrounding the place it inhabits.

Mixed media archival pigments and dimensional acrylic on archival canvas based on an original photograph taken by the artist. The finished mixed media paintings are each unique and original and individually signed by the artist. The finished picture should last for many generations.

18"X24" and 24"X36" pieces are on canvas mounted on stretcher bars ready for framing. A black border on the side of the stretcher bars provides a finished appearance that can be used without framing. 9"X12" pieces are mounted on a hardboard backing, ready for framing. The 8"X10" prints are mounted on 11"x14" black matting, ready for framing.
