| Author, composer, musician and producer, Bruce Ritchie plays the keyboard instruments as well as folk and classical guitar. As a child, Bruce began on piano and later added the guitar, accordion, organ and electronic keyboards. He serves on the Board of Directors of the International Symphony Orchestra. He is CEO of FASlink Fetal Alcohol Disorders Society, an international non-profit research, information, support and communications organization working with children who have been prenatally exposed to alcohol. |
Master guitarist, Dave Ashdown has been playing music most of his life. He initially started with the ukulele and then took lessons on the violin but began playing the guitar in 1964. He plays both acoustic and electric guitar in various styles including classical, folk, rock, blues and jazz. He has developed a unique style that captures the heart of the music being played. His passion for the guitar can be heard in his recordings and live performances. Both a composer and poet, his love of music and life can be heard in his original compositions and verse. He is President
of Community Concerns for the Medically Fragile, a non-profit organization
developing residential facilities for adults with severe disabilities. |
We play original easy listening and light jazz compositions as well as the golden oldies and contemporary pieces. However, we are just as likely to improvise new pieces on the fly. Our sound ranges from solo instrumental to the Big Band era. Our objective is to enhance the environment of a gathering. So enjoy your dinner and your conversations within the background ambience of music for lovers.
