Custom Commissioned Works

Your favourite images can be converted to beautiful paintings. Family, pets, hobbies, homes, boats, special interests, your favourite photo, etc.

Your mixed media painting will be created in archival pigments and acrylics on archival canvas, mounted on stretcher bars ready for framing. A black border on the side of the picture provides a finished appearance that can be used without framing. Frames are also available.

The acrylics range from opaque to transparent to bas relief depth to give your image a rich, 3D texture and appearance.

The finished mixed media paintings are each unique and original and individually signed by Bruce Ritchie. The finished picture should last for many generations.

The Process

1. Choose your favourite image.

2. Have it digitized or scanned as a high resolution JPG image.

3. Click on the Order Options below and choose size of painting you want.

4. Pay through FASlink's PayPal account, a completely secure system, using your credit card or your PayPal account. We never see your credit card information.

5. You will then be taken to a screen where you can click to start your E-mail program with a letter to me.

6. Attach your image to that letter. Add any special instructions to the letter.

7. When the painting is ready, you will receive a notice as to the cost of taxes (if any) and shipping.

8. Paintings shipped within Ontario are subject to PST at 8% plus GST at 5%. Other provinces only pay GST of 5%, no PST. Shipping to the USA is sales tax free and original works of art enter the USA duty free. There may be a small customs brokerage charge by the shipping company.
